Whether in a 5 bedroom detached house or in a quaint studio apartment we’ve compiled some money saving tips for you to transform every room in your home.
- Declutter the clutter – Assess the room you are working on. See if everything in there is necessary. Removing clutter and rearranging furniture is a cheap clever way of creating space and freshening up a room. Obviously you want to avoid disposing of your landlords furniture.
- Quick lick of paint – Don’t be scared to splash some colour on the walls. Whether it is a feature wall you’re thinking of, or a modern two tone scheme to add instant lift. There has never been a better selection of colours available from your local DIY store to give that WOW factor. Be brave be bold 🙂
- Light your way to success – Don’t under estimate the importance of lightning. By adding floor lights or a couple of table lights can dramatically change the feel of a room. We picked up some free standing floor lights from Ikea and positioned it in a corner behind a sofa. The effect was wonderful warm glow creating a beautiful soft ambience. If on a budget, simply changing the shade on your lamp can change an eyesore into a feature piece.
